Julie A. Moore, Ph.D., is an associate professor in the School of Instructional Technology and Innovation at Kennesaw State University. A lifelong educator, she has been researching, designing, and facilitating virtual learning communities for over 20 years. Her research includes studies on virtual Critical Friends Groups®, virtual technology coaching, and support for online teaching in higher education. She has conducted numerous workshops and webinars on designing online classes and facilitating virtual learning communities.
Natalie J. Berger is Chief Operating Officer of New Hampshire’s Virtual Learning Academy Charter School (VLACS). She has two decades of experience teaching high school science both in person and online. In 2009, she developed one of the first synchronous, video-based virtual learning communities. Natalie has led workshops and webinars for individuals and organizations looking to design meaningful and engaging online professional learning.
